What is a Heritage Box?
Not your typical herbal surprise box, these gift boxes are packed full of connection to the Appalachian Mountain’s, her plants and the people. Every other month, you get a package of goodies delivered right to your front door.
Though the theme of each box changes with the seasons, to focus on a plant or ancient holiday, the purpose of these boxes is always the same; to connect you with nature and the energetics that make the Appalachian mountains so very special.
Each box will include four to eight hand-made products created from wildcrafted herbs, roots, or flowers and locally sourced ingredients whenever possible. Also every box has little extras like stones, crystals, incense, whatever I’m moved to include. Along with a booklet.
Though each boxes contents is an unfolding journey between me and the mountain, it usually contains things like:
Seasonal Elixir or Tincture, Infused Herbal Oil or Salve, Herbal Bitter Blend, Tea or Burning Blend of wild gathered herbs, Shrub or Oxymel, Alter Items and more. Each item is created based on family traditions and the leading of the plants.
